If you have an Amazfit Active 2 (Round) smartwatch, there’s some exciting news: a brand-new update just dropped, and it actually makes your watch way more useful.

The update is called ZeppOS 5 (version 6.2.6.3), and trust me—it’s more than just fixing small bugs. It brings real features that can help you in everyday life, whether you’re working out, traveling, or just checking the time.

Let’s take a look at what’s new and why you should care.

Smarter Voice Assistant with Zepp Flow 2.0

Amazfit Active 2 Update smartwatch showing new ZeppOS 5 features like Zepp Flow 2.0 and map dragging

Let’s be honest—using voice assistants on watches used to feel awkward. You’d say something and then wait… and wait… and still not get what you asked for.

But now, with Zepp Flow 2.0, the voice assistant is a lot better. It understands you more easily and gives quicker, more natural answers.

You can now ask it things like:

  • “What’s the weather like?”
  • “Start my workout.”
  • “Set a timer for 10 minutes.”

And it actually works. 🙌

You Can Move Maps with Your Finger Now

This might sound small, but it’s super helpful: you can now drag maps with your finger on the watch screen. Before, you could zoom in and out—but you couldn’t move the map around.

Now, exploring your location or following a route feels more like using your phone. Handy if you’re walking, biking, or hiking somewhere new.

Easier Typing with QWERTY and AZERTY Keyboards

Typing on a tiny screen isn’t fun—but this update makes it a little easier. You can now choose between QWERTY (standard U.S. keyboard) and AZERTY (used in parts of Europe).

This helps a lot if you’re replying to a message or typing a password.

Heads up: the keyboard reply feature is currently available on Android only, so iPhone users won’t see this just yet.

But iOS users, don’t worry—if you’re using something like Beeper for iOS, you can still get this functionality through message integration. It’s a great workaround until native support improves.

Great New Tools for Travelers and Fitness Fans

This update also brings some really cool features for people who travel or work out a lot.

💤 Jet Lag Manager

Going to a different time zone? The Jet Lag Manager gives tips to help you adjust your sleep schedule faster. It’s like having a mini travel coach on your wrist.

👆 Tap to Wake

Before, you had to raise your wrist or press a button to wake the screen. Now? Just tap the screen once. That’s it.

It’s simple, but it makes using your watch feel quicker and easier.

Better Sleep Tracking + 🏊 Improved Swimming Stats

If you wear your watch to bed, sleep tracking is now more accurate. And if you swim, the watch will track your heart rate better while you’re in the pool. That’s great news for anyone serious about health or training.

New Roxzone Time for Hyrox Athletes

If you’re into Hyrox races (which mix running with strength training), there’s a new Roxzone tracking feature that helps you measure how long you spend in each workout zone.

It’s a super helpful tool if you’re training to beat your personal best.

Where Is the Update Available?

Right now, the update is out in:

  • United States 🇺🇸
  • Canada 🇨🇦
  • China 🇨🇳
  • Italy 🇮🇹

More countries will get it soon.
To check for it:

  1. Open the Zepp Health app on your phone
  2. Go to your watch settings
  3. Look for version 6.2.6.3
  4. Tap “Update” if it’s available

Easy!
